Resources
Practical information to help newcomers understand, navigate and build their lives in France.
Finding Your Way Starts With Good Information
Moving to a new country often means learning how unfamiliar systems work. Finding reliable information can be difficult, particularly when information is spread across different organizations, websites, languages and administrative systems.
PI is developing practical resources designed to make important information easier to understand and easier to find.
Our resources are intended to help newcomers understand their options, identify appropriate services and take informed next steps.

What Makes a PI Resource Useful?
We do not want our resource section to become a collection of copied links and generic information.
Where PI develops or curates a resource, we aim to consider who it is for, what problem it helps address, how the information should be presented, and whether it is understandable and accessible to the people who need it.
Whenever possible, resources should be practical, clear, relevant and connected to reliable sources.
Information Changes
Administrative procedures, eligibility requirements, services and contact information can change.
For this reason, information should be checked against current and reliable sources before important decisions are made.
PI will seek to review its resources and update them when important information changes. Where appropriate, we will identify the date of publication or review so users can better understand how current the information is.
Information Is Not a Substitute for Professional Advice
PI resources are intended to improve understanding and help people identify appropriate next steps. They are not intended to replace qualified legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
When a situation requires specialized advice or assistance, we encourage people to contact the appropriate qualified professional or organization.
Resources Will Grow With the Community
Our resource library is intended to develop gradually as we learn more about the questions, challenges and information needs of newcomers.
We welcome suggestions about information that would be useful, difficult to find or difficult to understand.
Community feedback can help us identify gaps and improve the usefulness and accessibility of our resources.
Help Us Make Information Easier to Find
If there is information you believe newcomers need, but often struggle to find or understand, we would like to hear from you.
